Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

At Ketamine Wellness Center, we are dedicated to help all patients through their respective journeys. We have partnered with Behavioral Health Clinic (BHC) to offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy involves the use of Ketamine in conjunction with Psychotherapy sessions to enhance the therapeutic process. Ketamine therapy is primarily used for the treatment of mental health conditions such as Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Suicidal Ideation, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Following Ketamine infusions, the team at BHC can help you find relief, improve communication, achieve greater self-acceptance, attain relief from mood management and more through telehealth psychotherapy sessions.

Psychotherapy Integration with Ketamine Treatment

In this approach, Ketamine is administered in a controlled setting at Ketamine Wellness Center – Appleton. The Psychotherapy sessions take place with a therapist at Behavioral Health Clinic via telehealth, after the completed session of Ketamine therapy. Between sessions, you will have opportunities to reflect on your experiences, practice coping strategies learned in therapy, and integrate insights into your daily life.

Ketamine’s ability to rapidly improve persistent feelings of sadness and suicidality provides a beacon of hope to those who may feel all options for improvement have been exhausted. With the guidance of a licensed therapist, these changes can make for powerful growth.
